Grace Humphries

There will be more biographical information on Grace Humphries soon. There is no doubt that she was a major influence in our village as well as being the driving energy that stopped needless destruction of the historical architecture in the community.
It is because of her efforts that the entire town of Port Deposit was put on the National Historic Register and that we have a museum.  Her love of Port Deposit is evident today. Her artwork until lately graced our walking tour guide and as well the hallways of Town hall, the Library and the Paw Paw Museum.

 This is just some of her art. There is a lot more that will be scanned for future web releases. Most are portraits of Port Deposit people and landscape paintings.
